Hello and God bless you, my friends! I am proud and pleased and honored to be the first follower on this blog, Menardiando. So the news for the first blog post is this: On the weekend of October 25 - 26, Fathers Tad and David as well as Definitive Brother Charlie Bak, all MSA, traveled to Montreal for the Father Menard Foundation annual celebration.
We arrived at the General House Saturday evening, where Father Isaac and Father Roma showed us kind and generous Missionary hospitality. We stayed overnight; the House is very peaceful and comfortable.
The day itself was wonderful. It was raining in Montreal on Saturday, but it cleared up the next day. So, on Sunday, it was a beautiful sunny day--just in time for Father Menard Day. The Mass was beautiful. It was in beautiful French, but we understood and followed and "actively participated" (Vatican II) in the eternal Sacrifice.
The meal following the Mass was delightful, with delicious food, Peruvian-style entertainment by young people, a slide show of God's beautiful children, and a talk about the work for God's little children made possible by the Father Menard Foundation. As the hobbits say, "It rained food and drink." -Charlie Bak, MSA
